Im going to the Repticon Fairgrounds Reptile Expo 2011. I have a few questions about it. I might buy a tree frog. I have 20 bucks and I already built a nice enclosure for an animal with a nice big tub, eco earth bedding, trees and a water bowl. Will 20 dollars be enough? And if I dont buy the tree frog.. what animals are cheap and cool? And is the expo going to be inside or outside? If 20 dollars isnt enough I can make some more money. Thanks!

there is this expo in edmonton canada nd my mother is saying that if i go there she will come there as a “volunter” and i dont want her to come caz
- she nags about evry stupid smallest thing
2- she gets tired really easily and the expo is frikin huge
3- she has diabeties
4- she will rant on about religion
5- she will talk about kidnapping and all that sorts of things
6- i love her and i dont want her to get lost
7- by teh time we come back she will be walking like a dead body
8- and she is plain……protective
so if u want more reason feel free to ask and wat are some excuse so she wont come?

It’s really funny because the guys in my class, if they want to say something they do. For instance jeff told my friend the other day “dang lili! You got BIG boobs!” and chritopher says “i like boobs! They’re so sexy!” Then avram says “Logan and i have made it to 1st base 2nd base and just made it to 3rd base this morning! Her tounge tasted like orange. I plan to get a homerun in 8th grade!” and then last week our math teacher threw a expo marker in the garbage from across the room and Tevin says to miss Kelly ‘ohh so your a fisty AND sexy one aren’t ya now!’ (my teachers 23)
I think all of this is nasty!! this is 6th grade, remember!!

Going to a reptile expo in dallas saturday and getting a red tail boa for my birthday/christmas. Clicked on the link of the vendors and discovered their albinos are pretty cheap and so are the normals. But here is my problem, I CAN’T DECIDE BETWEEN WHETHER I WANT AN ALBINO OR A NORMAL!!!
Both are beautiful..just would like to have yall’s opinion. (And before anybody says anything, i have researched and i know all the care and how big they get so don’t tell me that stuff PLEASE.) Thank you for any comments

Im just starting to get into reptiles and I would really like to go to an expo, but i dont know of any expo’s at all really… I’m Really into bearded dragons and ball pythons so if there are any particularly known for that please let me know.

It’s already December and it’s getting really cold here in the bay area and my room usually stays warm because the window is usually close, but I open it and turn the fan on a night to drop temperatures, but my ball python is currently using a ZooMed Heating Pad.
I’ve read the instructions and everything, but it’s not controlled by a thermostat just plugged into the wall, but I usually check it all the time like everyday or so and there is times when it is like not warming up to a little warm then a bit hot, but then it cools down and the cycle starts all over again, so I went to check on it this morning and it isn’t warming up and i’m concerned about my snake because I don’t want him to freeze to death.
He had just recently ate a small rat on thursday and he is in his hiding box now (on the warm-side), but i’ve found this desk lamp that was in my mom’s and step-dad’s room and had it set on top of my tank for probably like a week or two or so until my step-dad noticed it and got all pissed saying: “What happened to the heat mad, that we bought, he need more heat?” and i’m trying explain that “It’s winter here and it gets cold in northern california so i’m trying to keep my snake warm, he is an african snake after all”, but he was all like: “I don’t care (takes the desk lamp), and yells saying your a** need to get a job.” and he is right about the job part, but I have money as I get allowance every week, but really instead of wasting more money, we have stuff around the house we don’t even use that would be perfect for my snake (desk lamps, hide boxes, containers for water dishes, etc.).
My pet store called: “PET CLUB” has this heating lamp that i’m thinking about buying for pretty cheap, would that be ok for him I know snakes need belly heat, but I want to keep my little man warm, he is a pretty good feeder too, but he is still a baby not sure how old he is though because i’ve got him at an expo and was so excited to have him and not busy asking questions, but done my research, but anyway, the heating lamps are from ZooMed and it’s called the: “Zoo Med Mini Combo Dome” would that work for him?

This spring I will be bringing my mustang to a horse expo to represent the BLM mustang . Part of this will be a 10 minute showing in the kids kiddy corral. Any idea on presenting about mustangs to children to make it more interesting to a youthful audience ?
btw, this horse is very good with people.
I have contacted BLM and will be getting freebies to hand out.
